A little chap with a great performance – that’s Anton! Although you would scarcely notice him thanks to his small dimensions, room sizes of up to 25 m2 (63 m3) are a breeze for him. As an ultrasonic humidifier in highly resistant material, Anton can even distribute your favourite fragrance to perfection in the room. To ensure that Anton leaves no traces behind even with high mineral content of the water, he can optionally be equipped with an Anticalc Cartridge. The Water Cube™ ensures hygienic humidification. His simple operating buttons are concealed on the underside. Another elegant touch is provided by the LED water level indicator which turns red when the tank is empty.

What type of water is suitable for Anton?

The ultrasonic technology turns the water into mist. In the process, the limescale in the water is converted into minute particles which are then deposited as a white film on furniture. That is why we recommend using an anticalc cartridge which will reduce the limescale content in the water. If the water is hard (14–21 °dH) or very hard (from 21 °dH), you will have to change the cartridge very frequently in order to prevent the occurrence of the white film. Anton should not be operated using decalcified water from a water softener which is based on the principle of ion exchange (salt is added to the water) either. The salt contained in the water can also accumulate around the device in the form of white dust. For that reason, we recommend using an evaporator if you have extremely hard water or decalcified water.Alternatively, distilled water can also be used. Video distilled water

Why do water droplets form on or around my Anton?

If you notice droplets (or other signs of moisture) on or around the device, this is condensed water from the humidifier. This means that the air can no longer absorb the moisture from the humidifier. Please reduce the humidification output to such an extent that droplets are no longer visible. Condensation around the device can also be minimised by placing Anton off the floor rather than directly on it.

Fragrances for use with Anton

You can use any commercially available fragrances, aromatic oils or essential oils with Anton. It is important to use oils which are as natural as possible and do not contain alcohol, such as our pure essential oils. We recommend adding 2-3 drops to the water. You can, however, use more or less if you want to. If you add more, it is important to clean your Anton on a weekly basis in order to prevent the build-up of deposits. In addition, the intensity of the fragrance is influenced by various factors: Type of fragrance (synthetic, natural, ingredients, etc.) Room temperature and relative humidity (the more humid the air, the stronger the fragrance will be) Room size (the smaller the room, the more intense the fragrance) The intensity of a fragrance will depend on the fragrance itself. Natural fragrances are often more discreet than synthetic ones and certain ingredients are more dominant than others. It should also be remembered that first and foremost, the device is a humidifier. Its main focus is to provide humidity in the room and because of that, the intensity of its fragrance will never be as strong as the fragrance from an aroma diffuser.

Why does Anton’s water level indicator light up red even though there is water in the water tank?

Please check your Anton for the following:Is the float gauge free of dirt and limescale and does it move up and down easily (see image)? The float gauge may have become clogged with fragrance residues or limescale. Please clean Anton according to the instructions for use. Make sure that the new anticalc cartridge has been immersed in water for at least 24 hours prior to use (not in the water tank). If you forget to do this, please do so immediately. After 3 months, replace the anticalc cartridge with a new one. Check to make sure that water can flow out of the tank by holding the water tank over a sink and holding down the valve under the tank cover. Water should now flow out. If that is not the case, remove the anticalc cartridge from inside the tank cover and try again. If water now flows out, the anticalc cartridge is blocked and will have to be replaced. If that does not rectify the problem either, contact the retailer from whom you purchased your Anton and order a new tank cover.

How and how often should I clean Anton?

For hygienic reasons and to ensure proper operation, we recommend the following cleaning intervals. Attention: Never immerse the device in water (danger of short-circuit). Daily: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold tap water. If the device is not going to be used for several days, empty the water from the water tank beforehand and if necessary, clean it with a drop of washing-up liquid and a clean cloth. Then fill the water tank with fresh water before putting the device into operation again. Video Cleaning the water tank Every 2 weeks: Remove the water tank, the mist outlet, the mist chamber and the Water Cube™. You can now clean the ultrasonic membrane using a common household descaler. It is important to make sure that the water level inside the device is not higher than 10 mm. Should the water level accidentally exceed 10 mm, contact Stadler Form or a specialist technician immediately. If you are unable to remove all the residues, you can clean the ultrasonic membrane using the cleaning brush (front or back). Please do not attempt to chip limescale deposits off the membrane using a hard object. In the case of stubborn limescale deposits, we recommend repeating the descaling process several times in a row. After descaling, rinse out the lower part and then dry it thoroughly. Clean and descale the water tank. Then put back the water tank, the mist outlet, the mist chamber and the Water Cube™. Video Cleaning Regularly as required: To clean the outside, rub with a damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. At the end of the season: Before putting away the device at the end of the season, carry out descaling as described above. Clean and descale the water tank too. Then clean the device thoroughly inside and out and let it dry completely. Insert a new Water Cube™ so that your device will be ready to be put into operation at the start of the next season.
